• Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical or Naval Engineering
• Experience: 3-5 years in QA/QC for Shipbuilding

As a QA/QC Engineer, you will oversee critical shipbuilding processes, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with IR Class regulations.
Your role will involve material testing, quality control, and welding inspections, ensuring high safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise shipbuilding construction and fabrication
• Ensure expertise in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, including quality control
• Conduct tensile, impact, and hardness tests for material assessment
• Verify hull strength, deck stability, and bulkhead safety
• Maintain compliance with IR Class standards for ship structures
• Implement environmental policies for pollution control and waste
management
• Develop and execute QA/QC plans, inspections, and testing
• Review ultrasonic, radiographic, and visual NDT inspections
• Handle non-conformance reports (NCRs) and take corrective actions
