C&I Engineer (Engineer/Sr. Engineer)

1. Shift Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
1) Ensuring zero DC Loss due to C&I Shift
2) Ensuring healthiness of all C&I systems to minimize delays in Light-up activities
3) Reporting & ensuring necessary rectification of Faulty Instruments
4) Identification, arresting, and reporting of all possible leakages from air lines, oil seepage, water/steam leaks
5) Maintaining shift logbook and Shift Check list
6) System & Process Alarm monitoring on each shift
7) Troubleshooting of C&I Systems & timely updation of LED data
8) Activity-based Safety training & toolbox talk man-days/year
9) Timely Commissioning of equipment post Overhauling
10) Ensuring adherence to PM schedule using SAP module
11) Availability of minimal spares, tools, measuring, and testing instruments during shift
12) Trip analysis and report generation
13) Zero lost time due to injury of Shift Manpower in (BTG + CHP) area
14) Ensuring Zero Safety violations during shift activities
15) Monthly open PTW review
16) Safety Week Preparedness & Participation in awards
17) Coordination with other departments to resolve defects
18) Ensuring the availability of Auto Loops
2. DCS Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
1) Hands-on experience with Valmet DCS (Metso) system configuration
2) Knowledge of Profinet and Profibus-based communication
3) Understanding of ring topology with IP-based communication
4) Knowledge of routers and firewalls
5) Familiarity with OPC communication
6) Understanding of cybersecurity servers in Valmet DCS
7) Knowledge of Linux and Java programming
8) Management of configuration files, system files, data backups, and image backups
9) Knowledge of system hardware addresses and token numbers in Valmet DCS
10) System readiness skills
11) Experience in Valmet DCS logic and graphics modification
12) Assigning new I/Os, trends, and history in Valmet DCS
13) Understanding the sequence of events in Valmet DCS
14) Data and image backup and recovery process for PCs and controllers
15) Understanding Modbus (serial & TCP) communication
